VIDAS Run Kids – an exciting marathon for chuldren during the 12th edition of the Pleven Marathon.
Children are the marathon runners of tomorrow – they are our future. That is why we invest in them and invite parents to partner with us in building healthy habits, a strong sporting spirit, and confidence. With VIDAS Run Kids, young runners will feel the excitement of competition, show their determination, and truly enjoy the experience.
The best performers will be awarded on the official podium – just like true champions.
All participants will go home with medals, treats, and unforgettable memories!
Our mission is to inspire children to play outdoor, to be active and have fun. So they will be healthier, motivated, smarter, successful and happier.
REGISTRATION AND PICK-UP OF RACE NUMBER
At the Children’s Center, in the City Park just 2 minutes away from the Start/Finish zone:
- on 16 May (Saturday) from 10.30 to 15:00;
- on 17 May (Sunday) from 8.00 to 8:30.
START
On 17 May (Sunday) at 9:25 am from the Start/Finish line in front of the mausoleum.
First start kids in the 6-7Y age group, then ones in the 8-9Y age group followed by the ones in the 10-12 age group.
AGE GROUPS
Little runners will be split into 3 age groups:
- 6 to 7 years (born in 2019-2020) – 300 m or one lap of the mausoleum;
- 8 to 9 years (born in 2017-2018) – 600 m or 2 laps of the mausoleum;
- 10 to 12 years (born in 2014-2016) – 900 m or 3 laps of the mausoleum;
The registration is free.
AWARDS
There will be awards for every registered and finished little runner: medal and gift.
Podium – the fastest 3 girls and 3 boys in each age group will be awarded on the podium with the official marathon medal, certificate and special gift.
